Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Role involves managing new reservations that come in, managing the customers currently in hire, managing insurance companies and growth. Enterprise put a huge focus on training their interns and trainee's to be knowledgeable on all aspects of managing a business. Including 12 KPI's.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes. In the Enterprise business model they build their workforce through the annual recruitment of interns, trainee's and placement students so the give us a lot of responsibilities to build our competence and skills. This is one of my favorite parts of my time here. I am here to grow and grow is what I did.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Absolutely. I have learnt new customer facing skills, time management skills, operational and logistic skills and cost control and growth skills. Skills that I have developed include customer service related skills as I had a lot of background in hospitality prior to my role.

Support is good. Enterprise is a fast paced business so sometimes help isn't immediate but help will always be there with some patience.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Excellent. They focus on diversity and inclusivity. The men to women ratio is the most even I have seen it in a business before. My team in particular is very helpful and fun to be around and makes the day to day shifts much more enjoyable!

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed the learning element. It was difficult at times and Enterprise really do push you to get the most out of you however as for a placement, that is what you want as it gives you more opportunity to grow. The work life balance is sometimes hindered due to long hours however Enterprise reward you with this with overtime, half-days, team day outs ect.

What advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility
If you are a keen learner and a opportunity grabber, Enterprise is a great fit. If you expect to sit and do nothing all year during your placement, Enterprise is not for you, as as an intern you are given lots of responsibility and have a real input into your branch and the companies growth and success.
