Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Support day-to-day branch operations including customer check-ins, rental agreements, and vehicle handovers. Assist with reducing wait times, delivering excellent customer service, and promoting additional products. Work closely with the team to manage logistics, streamline processes, and maintain fleet efficiency.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

You are given as much responsibility as you show you can handle. It’s a very you get out what you put in job and that’s exactly what I wanted in an internship. It’s up to you how far you go and how much you gain from the experience, and when you do put in the work it never goes unnoticed, and you are rewarded for your work.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

I have developed my communication and customer service skills significantly by helping countless customers in high-pressure fast paced situations. I’ve also improved my ability to manage time effectively, solve problems quickly, and work as part of a fast-paced team. Also I have gained valuable experience in sales through promoting optional products and handling rental agreements.

A lot, there is always someone willing to help. In the early stages you have your training for 3 days and then in person training for 2 days.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The culture is all based around improving, setting daily goals and being rewarded for reaching them. So your always working towards something, which fits in with the companies fast paced promotion possibilities.
