Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a Management Trainee Intern at Enterprise Mobility, I support daily branch operations by assisting with customer bookings, vehicle preparation, and returns. I work with internal systems, help ensure a smooth rental experience, and contribute to customer satisfaction. The role provides insight into business operations, sales, and service, while developing key professional skills in a fast-paced environment. Every day is hands-on and focused on learning how to run a successful and customer-driven branch.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, I was given a good level of responsibility from early on. I was trusted to assist with key tasks such as handling customer interactions, preparing and managing vehicles, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth handovers. While support was always available, I was encouraged to take initiative and work independently, which helped build my confidence and decision-making skills in a real business environment.

Yes, during my internship I’ve developed a range of professional skills including communication, problem-solving, and time management in a fast-paced environment. I’ve also improved my customer service abilities and learned how to adapt quickly to different situations. Additionally, I gained new knowledge in operational systems, sales processes, and the importance of teamwork in delivering excellent service. These skills have strengthened both my confidence and my understanding of day-to-day business operations.
