Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Interacting with customers every day and assisting with the essential running of a rental branch. Learning and developing key skills used to grow and expand the business. Customer interaction is the main focus within the job whether it be delivering cars to customers, picking them up or over counter interactions. Furthermore engagement with local businesses, dealerships and body shops is also a large portion of the day to day role.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
You are responsible for ensuring customers are happy with the service provided by Enterprise - this is also a reflection on you as a person! Further into my placement I had the opportunity to be responsible for the efficient day-running of the branch in which you plan and manage the tasks needed to be completed throughout the day as well as managing an entire team of people.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed lots of skills whilst at Enterprise mainly in regards to business management. Customer service skills are vital for the role and are developed along the way through training provided as well as gaining experience in person / on the job. Furthermore, my leadership skills have developed after having managed a team within the branch whilst being supported by my assistant and branch manager.

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Training is provided along the entire placement. Group sessions at multiple intervals are provided as well as 1 to 1 training in the branch with assistant managers / branch managers. Support is available from anyone at any level at any point during the placement. If you have a question someone will have an answer

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Company culture is an inclusive environment in which customer service is top priority. Enterprise is a fun place to work whilst it requires hard work and resilience at the same time.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Whilst Enterprise is a professional and very smarty business it’s also an opportunity to make new friends and have fun in the work place. I’ve loved my time at the Worcester branch and have built some great relationships along the way
