Global Assistant Brand Manager Review

In marketing, my role varies greatly, and no day is the same. My daily activities include meetings with my team, managing emails, and contributing to the launch of new campaigns. This includes promoting self-esteem education and supporting global educational initiatives. I am involved in major sports partnerships, coordinating brand visibility and representation at significant international events. I have played a key role in a new media partnership, focusing on diverse social media content and innovative industry trends, which involves attending shoots and approving creative materials. Additionally, I have been part of Unilever’s outreach team, working to promote the company’s mission at various universities and engaging with future talent. My experience spans large-scale communications campaigns, social-first content, retailer point-of-sale, partnerships, sponsorships, and organizing and speaking at live events.

Absolutely, I was given more responsibility than I could have ever imagined during my placement. From the very beginning, I was entrusted with leading media partnerships and sports partnerships, which was both challenging and incredibly rewarding. The experience was immersive, and I was thrown into significant projects right away, but with the most support from my team. This combination of responsibility and support allowed me to grow professionally and personally, making the internship an invaluable part of my career journey.

Throughout my time in marketing, I have significantly developed my skills and gained new ones. My confidence and public speaking abilities have notably increased through various experiences. Engaging in major sports partnerships and coordinating brand visibility at significant international events, has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively and confidently in high-pressure situations. Additionally, my involvement in Unilever’s outreach team, promoting the company’s mission at various universities, has further honed my public speaking skills. Working on large-scale communications campaigns, social-first content, and organizing live events has provided me with ample opportunities to practice and improve my presentation skills. These experiences have collectively contributed to my growth, making me more adept at conveying ideas clearly and persuasively.
