Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I am a biller within the DRU, my role consists of overlooking the money we are owed by renters and correctly allocating it to the right parties. This includes refunding customers, charging insurance accounts and corporate companies.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I am given the responsibility of renters, corporate accounts and insurers money so I believe I have a lot of responsibility in my role.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The office is a great environment to be in everyone is very friendly and has been very welcoming from the start. Within our department we often do out of office activities which has made working here very enjoyable.

My internship exceeded my expectations as I learnt a lot of soft skills I did not expect to from being in the office and from the roles I have worked.
