Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role is in the examinations department where we identify & investigate potential subrogation opportunities, notifying relevant parties of the damage that has been caused. We do this by receiving the claims and looking through all details attached, contacting any relevant parties whose information or account we might need, contacting our other departments and branches for information so we can maximise recovery thereby minimising the cost to our operating groups on every claim in an efficient and timely manner.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I have been given responsibility being tasked with hosting a charity football match with my fellow interns which was a really cool idea, some of the other interns held a charity quiz as well. We were also allowed a day to visit our Heathrow branch which is particularly busy and see operations over there which was very cool and in a way we were representing the company whilst also learning valuable job knowledge

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have improved my time management and massively developed my communication skills through speaking with customers, fellow employees, zoom training calls, intern presentations, days over at our branches, days over at head office. My emotional intelligence has been greatly improved dealing with customers on the phone and staying professional. My team work and collaboration skills have been improved working inside our support department and examinations where everyone joins together to provide help and pass on knowledge.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I received a great amount of support and guidance, my lead reps have always been checking in with me and even my level 2 has always offered help and advice which has been great. There has never been a point at enterprise where i have felt to be left alone and i have never questioned enterprise having my best interests at heart

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
A very warm and welcoming place, everyone here communicates and gets on well with each other, diversity is massively celebrated which is great to see and throughout the year there have been a few fun office games that have taken place which really uplifts the mood and gets people interacting and motivated

What advice would you give to others applying to Enterprise Mobility
Throw yourself into as much as possible as it is very rewarding to do so, i regret taking a bit of a laid back approach to my internship from the start and the experience has been great and i have been pushed so much however had i immersed myself quicker and really got into it and hit the ground running i could have seen and experienced more of whatever enterprise has to offer all
