Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role is to help control net cost of damage by recovering damage debt. The team I work in specifically recovers on third-party insurance claims where our renter has had an incident with a third-party. We review liability to ensure we can recover/pursue the other party, liaise with third-party insurers and our customers, deal with a multitude of customer queries to support other teams and collect money based on a cash target.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, interns are highly valued within their teams and there is a big focus on training and progression. You will be given adequate support to prepare you for the responsibilities you will take on and will become an important part of the team.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my placement. There are opportunities in and outside of the office to grow and learn as well as good morale through social events. The people I've met are great and this has been a very beneficial year for me.
