Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
On a day to day basis, I was assigned work by my supervisor and my associate buddy. I also attended practice area talks that were given by the relevant associates and trainees in each department. We were also given a group presentation task to work on together.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very insightful to hear and see how the firm’s expertise and sector specialisms work together in practice. The practice area talks were helpful but it was also extremely helpful to get stuck on actual work.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I developed new skills relating to drafting, also particularly learning to tailor written communication for clients. I also got to sit in a preliminary hearing, where I learned to take effective notes. I also strengthened my research skills; as i undertook targetted research to understand and help clients with specific cases.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very welcoming and respectful. Everyone I met were really friendly and interested in getting me to know.
