Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Each vacation schemer spends a week in a practice area. I was sat in patents. I completed a variety of tasks: legal research, case summaries, attending court, summarising court notes, group presentation, chatting with associates and trainees rom different departments.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
I learnt a lot. Everyone was very welcoming and open to chat. Despite the scheme only lasting a week, I gained a really broad understanding of the firm thanks to the practice area focus sessions and everyone's openness

Everyone was very friendly, open and honest. It confirmed that the firm's values aren't just for show, they are embedded in the culture of the firm.
