What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was great to learn more about the different market sectors J.P Morgan is involved in and people's roles in said areas. It was great to learn about what a trader, structurist, and analyst do on a day-to-day basis - this helping me greatly deepen my understanding of the sector.

How would you rate business leader involvement during the insight

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was friendly, welcoming, and encouraging. All questions I asked were met with answers full of detail and insightful advice. We were constantly encouraged to ask questions, and at no given moment were we made to feel like a question was not good enough. We also participated in a mindfulness session, which helped me gain meditation skills to remain calm during the unprecedented Covid-19 times.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
The insight was great. I was able to network with lots of employers and also meet other interns. Obviously, it being virtual, it wasn't easy to simulate being in the actual offices, but I believe that overall the experience was great. The meetings were always on time, and event organisers met the schedule to perfection.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to J.P. Morgan
Make sure your CV is well-curated and stands out. Try and participate in university societies and get involved in activities relating to the work area you are trying to get a placement in. Be prepared with questions for networking, and always take notes on what people are saying so you can remember any useful information later on.
