Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Completed a Process Improvement project, adding value by improving the efficiency of a current highly manual process. The project also included aspects of Analytics & Project Management (stakeholder engagement & planning).

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Had a lot of ownership over my project which I enjoyed. Also, there are many opportunities to get involved with the community at work such as organising employee engagement events.

Everyone at the company are ready to support you during the internship even those who are outside your team. From onboarding to weekly recruiter office hours the communication from the company is excellent and it is easy to speak about any concerns you have.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

There is a great sense of community in the office, everyone is willing to help each other out. Mentoring is a big thing in the company and the company culture promotes a lot of growth and development.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my internship experience, it was a great opportunity to network with a huge community of people and to hear about their experiences. I learned a lot about the company culture and structure which I did not know prior to my internship. It definitely helped accelerate my growth as an individual and professional.
