Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

Over the course of this immersive experience I gained an in-depth insight into the Technology teams, experienced an inclusive culture and got a chance to put my skills and learning into practice through a collaborative team activity. I took part in presentations on topics such as Cyber Security and User Experience, networked with the business and met analysts who were once in my position during hands-on, fun technology challenges.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

It was very thorough and I definitely learned about how JPM is structured and what the several roles and positions entail.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I got to improve on my Python and Java skills and learnt about SQL. Moreover, I gained insight into topics such as Cybersecurity and the framework Spring. I further upskilled my strengths in communication and teamwork alongside my peers during the event.
