I was given the responsibility of loading products onto the First Choice website. This required detailed checking of hotel ratings and geographical locations. These were presented and sold on the website so it was important that they were to a good standard and detailed in the correct location so as to uphold the high standards of the First Choice brand.
I was also given the responsibility of conducting in-depth competitor analysis. This included reviewing competitors packages, their ancillary offerings and also the range of flight options they were able to offer customers.

While on my placement I received a large amount of support and guidance from not only the teams I was working in but also the L&D team of TUI as well. Working with a wide range of people across multiple different teams people were always there to support me if I had any troubles or queries.

I have enjoyed my placement and have had the opportunity to work closely and learn from a wide range of friendly and experienced individuals. I have had some great opportunities while here including not only attending overseas conferences, but also having the chance to present to a wide range of people including Senior Managers and other members of the TUI UK&I board. I have formed some great friendships with my collages and fellow placement students who have all helped to make my experience really enjoyable.
