Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role at Kantar involves using internal software to generate and understand data, in order to present to clients, giving them overviews and insights into their markets.
The role involves a mix of both regular, scheduled reports and the occasional ad hoc request.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, during my Placement I was given a large amount of responsibility with daily client facing tasks as well as occasional 1-to-1 calls with clients to discuss the management of tasks. This has been really helpful in developing my skills in client facing work and communication with external parties.

I received regular support and guidance by way of daily catch-up calls with my line-manager to discuss the distributing of tasks across our team.

Overall, I have really enjoyed my Placement at Kantar World panel, as I have felt motivated to give my maximum effort throughout, whilst also really enjoying the social side of the job and working as part of a collaborative team.

What advice would you give to others applying to Kantar Worldpanel
Ask lots of questions during your early weeks in the role to absorb as much knowledge as possible, which will help you to settle in quickly and familiarize yourself with Kantar data and how its used. This will also help to adopt new systems faster and allow you to maximize your productivity in the role.
