Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Support full-time team members in their daily tasks, such as producing marketing decks and updating existing ones for clients/prospects, building future projections for the financial performance of a company, running a profitability model, summarising earnings calls and analysing financial statements, and taking down notes during client calls
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Definitely. I could see how the output of my work was actually used in client meetings and had a positive impact on the work of people in the team.

I believe I received enough support and guidance, but the only thing is that I had to take the initiative and ask for it often, instead of it being given to me by default when I needed to start working on something which was completely new to me

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I really enjoyed my internship, I believe it had a significant impact on who I am as a person, and it helped me build a lot of character. Also professionally, I learned a lot of new skills that will be instrumental for me in the future, so I am glad that my first step in the professional world was with J.P. Morgan
