Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
This role consisted of supporting the shop floor and manager with data reporting, project management and process improvement. There will be many issues bought to you throughout the day that will require problem solving and team working.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
My manager gave me a large amount of responsibility but would always check that I was not flooded with work and could complete all the current objectives assigned to me.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed my excel skills through the daily reporting. This role has also given me large insight into how operations manager control their production areas through teamwork and planning. I have developed my interpersonal and problem solving skills throughout this placement

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Within most departments within the plant there is a good culture that promotes teamwork and productivity. However there are other departments that incite a negative and anti-teamwork atmosphere

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I enjoyed working with the people in departments that are hands on within the production. There was a good atmosphere in my department and everyone gets along well.
