Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Working in the various teams to complete tasks that were given, ranging from drafting to research tasks and completing pieces for supervisors and buddies.
Getting to read up on materials for matters and familiarise with documents
Understanding law firm financials
Interacting with various members of the team, from Paralegal to Partner, to gain a greater understanding into the work that the firm does and assessing the culture of the firm.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Enlightening, the training provided was very thorough and the details about the firms inner working was best delivered through not only the supervisors, but the sessions that the firm organised for individual insights were invaluable, always with the opportunity to ask questions. No stone was left unturned.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Extremely friendly. Regardless of seniority people were more than happy to take time out to speak to you to answer questions if they had the availability. Huge strides being made on a social mobility perspective which is important personally to me and it is good that the firm does a good job in not only fostering, but highlighting the values it stands for.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
It was a very enjoyable 2 weeks. I took full advantage of all the opportunities that were there for me and learned as much as I could from the experts that were there. I learned a lot of information that couldn't be googled, which is ideally where an candidate will get the most value out of a scheme such as this.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Taylor Wessing
Do as much research on the firm as possible, ensure that you understand the sector focus that the firm operates in and how it tailors its specialties in order to assist the client base. Make sure you're up to date on commercial awareness all around tech and life science especially, as it can give way to some fantastic conversations at interview.
