Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

We were in two different departments during the two weeks. I carried out legal and factual research, proofreading and drafting, as well as attending focus on sessions to learn about other practice areas and workshops. We also had networking opportunities and socials.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

I learnt more about what trainees do on a day-to-day basis thanks to the trainee buddy system. I also learnt more about certain business decisions lawyers have to make on top of understanding the law.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

I really enjoyed every minute of it. The work I did on real matters was super interesting and stimulating. All the focus on sessions were useful and enjoyable as well as the workshops.
