Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
On a day-to-day basis, I would serve customers at the branch whilst providing excellent customer service to them, deliver and collect vehicles to/from our insurance & corporate customers, go marketing to local companies to help grow the business, develop my knowledge of how to manage costs including debt, overtime & fuel costs and I would become more confident with selling to customers.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given lots of responsibility and because I was held accountable for my personal performance it motivated me to use my responsibility well

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I received more than enough guidance during my placement as I had a personal mentor who reached out to me often, took me out for lunch, and had a few video calls to catch up in case I needed any further support. My branch manager took me out for lunch every month to go over my monthly personal goals and spend some time with me talking about my progression in the business.

I enjoyed my placement thoroughly as I feel like I have grown as a person by being exposed to so many new scenarios from winning competitions to dealing with tricky customers.
