Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The vacation scheme was well-designed. We were able to choose the two seats we wanted to go to in advance within a two-week period and we were treated like real trainees. The work may vary depending on the seat, but in general, it included reviewing documents, drafting documents, due diligence, participating in client meetings, etc. Outside of work, we were able to attend various presentations and networking events.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very informative and exciting. The two weeks of experience in two seats gave me a good feel for the different departments and the way they work. On a broader level, the various presentations gave me an insight into the firm's expectations for people to take an active role in society.

The group exercise session has improved my presentation skills. The experience of the two seats and different new tasks during the two weeks also strengthened my adaptability and time management skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very friendly. People are very respectful of my work. There is no obvious sense of hierarchy. My supervisor was even willing to take the extra time to explain the basics to me.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Very enjoyable. The vacation scheme achieved a good balance between work and social events. I had time to network with other people at the firm and to experience the different seats of work during this short period.
