Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Spent two weeks at the firm in two different departments working on real matters for clients alongside business development work. Attended lots of sessions organised by Graduate Recruitment to learn more about the firm and its values. Completed a group project with other members of my internship cohort and presented it to a pannel of judges in the second week of the scheme. Attended socials with the interns and lawyers each week.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The group project helped us to understand how the firm operates as a business as well as a law firm and coffee chats with lawyers within my department supported my understanding of the business development activities that occured specifically within each team.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Amazing culture, all partners were happy to chat or go for a coffee. We met the UK Managing Partner for a Q&A session and she provided great insights into the current culture of the firm and how this culture would be developed over the coming years. Everyone I met was super friendly and embodied the welcoming and open culture of the firm.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
Great experience, would 100% recommend. It was a great way to get insight into the firm and some of its departments and to see whether pursuing a training contract at the firm was something I would be interested in.
