Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The vacation scheme was split between presentations, group activities, assessments and working in the Taylor Wessing departments. The split allowed us to fully gain an insight as to what life is really like at Taylor Wessing, and get a real feel for the firm.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The “Focus On” sessions really allowed us to gain an understand of what each team does at the firm- a truly invaluable opportunity that a lot of other firms do not offer. I left with an in-depth understanding of each practice group, and a sense that everyone at TW genuinely enjoys working at the firm

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have learnt a number of transferable skills from the scheme, from developing my networking capabilities to refining my attention for detail. This was thanks to the comprehensive and extensive feedback received from my supervisor that allowed me to understand my strengths and focus on my areas for development

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere is just lovely- I was honestly so impressed. From the partner approachability to the extensive effort put in by the Graduate Recruitment Team, everyone made us feel so welcome and was happy to help us out and answer all our questions.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I very much enjoyed the scheme. The culture was lovely and it was very well planned and well thought out. Thank you Taylor Wessing for such a lovely two weeks
