About the role

Here at Forge Dynamic, we have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Apprentice to join our experienced & welcoming team of engineers based in our offices in London. As an apprentice with Forge Dynamic, you will be enrolled on to a L3 Azure Cloud Specialist apprenticeship programme with the option of moving to higher level qualifications and a genuine opportunity of securing a permanent role on successful completion of the programme.This is an excellent opportunity to join us and as an employee you will gain access to a large library of training courses and accreditations to help further your skills and development. The successful candidate will be someone who can blend first rate customer service skills with hands on IT support.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provide remote and on‑site technical support to end users
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (e.g., AD/Entra)
  • Set up, configure, and deploy devices and applications
  • Maintain and monitor IT infrastructure and system performance
  • Implement security measures such as patching, MFA, and endpoint protection
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including equipment and access
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and asset records
  • Support and troubleshoot business-critical applications
  • Assist in IT projects, upgrades, and technology rollouts

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Demonstrate the ability to methodically work through issues
  • Must be able to deal directly with clients in a friendly and highly confident manner demonstrating excellent internal and external customer communication skills
  • Always seen to be helpful when dealing with clients and within the team, and display professionalism and patience when offering advice and support
  • Be comfortable completing a certain amount of administration that includes updates in FreshDesk (ticketing system)
  • There may be an occasional requirement to visit client sites
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft 365, Mac OS (desirable)
  • Enthusiastic with a genuine passion in solving IT issues
  • Empathetic to customer needs and requirements
  • Willing to learn and grow within Forge Dynamic

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
  • If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday between 8:30am - 6:00pm
