Job Description

Digital Marketing Higher Apprenticeship - Toolsaver

Toolsaver are looking for a versatile Digital Marketing Apprentice to support our wider digital team across a range of activities. This is not a specialist role focused on one area — instead, you’ll contribute to different parts of the digital function as needed.

You’ll work alongside colleagues responsible for marketing, eCommerce, and systems, providing support where required. One day you may be updating website content, another analysing data in Excel, and another helping create visuals or marketing materials.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable switching between tasks, and is happy contributing across multiple areas.

Responsibilities

  • Support the digital team with day-to-day website updates (content, products, basic changes)
  • Assist with data handling and reporting using Excel
  • Help create visual content using tools such as Adobe and Canva
  • Contribute to digital marketing activity (emails, promotions, website content)
  • Assist with product uploads and general eCommerce tasks
  • Provide support on ad hoc digital projects as required
  • Help maintain accuracy and consistency across projects

You will need the following skills:

  • Knowledge of Excel (handling data, basic formulas, organisation)
  • Knowledge or experience using websites or CMS platforms (e.g. Shopify, WordPress, BigCommerce)
  • Comfortable using creative tools such as Canva or Adobe
  • Strong attention to detail and organisation
  • Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
  • Can commute to ML4
  • A flexible team player who is happy to support across different areas
  • Comfortable working on a mix of data, systems, and creative tasks
  • Not necessarily a specialist — but confident picking up new tools and tasks
  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage changing priorities
  • Interested in digital, technology, and improving how things are done

Additionally, the following experience would be beneficial:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Exposure to email marketing or digital campaigns
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Interest in AI tools and digital automation

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Working hours: 40 hours per week on site, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Why join us?

  • Work as part of a collaborative digital team
  • Varied role with exposure to multiple areas of the business
  • Opportunity to build a broad digital skillset
  • Involvement in ongoing digital improvements and projects

Future prospects:

90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
