Job Description

Digital Support Level 3 Apprenticeship - Courier Connections

About Courier Connections:

Courier Connections are a courier and distribution company providing reliable same‑day, next‑day, palletised, and international delivery services. With a strong presence in Scotland and part of the EFS Global group, they operate multiple depots and a large vehicle fleet to support efficient UK‑wide and European logistics, alongside secure warehousing solutions. They are looking for a motivated individual to join their team!

What will I be doing?

  • First responder to incoming enquiries from clients and acting as first response for the office email ticketing system on Microsoft Outlook. This will involve triaging phone calls and ticketed emails to the relevant team member
  • Become a “superuser” on Vigo – transport management software – tracking pallets and visibility, managing routings and handling daily operations for haulage and distribution to ensure smooth business operations
  • Maintain and organising the digital filing system on their internal bespoke filing system
  • Updating customers and internal databases using Pallet Track, to ensure all information logged is up-to-date both internally and externally
  • Utilising Samsara – fleet management system – to monitor tracking of vehicles and updating route plans with any changes, ensuring accurate updates and visibility to customers
  • Using Microsoft Excel to input and update data to internal spreadsheets, ensuring accurate information and efficient cross-communication between teams and drivers
  • Collaborate and communicate with team members to process documents in a timely manner to ensure workflow

What you'll bring:

  • A genuine eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A proactive attitude - willing to ask questions, seek feedback, and take initiative
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to completing the apprenticeship program

Salary: £18,000 per annum

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Why you'll love it here:

  • Structured learning plan with clear milestones and feedback
  • One-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals
  • A friendly, inclusive workplace where your growth is our priority
  • On-site parking and good public transport links

Future prospects:

90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
