Overview:

Household Cavalry Soldiers take on a unique role that combines frontline soldiering with ceremonial duties. You’ll be trained to operate as an armoured reconnaissance soldier, gathering vital information to support Army operations, while also representing The Army at high‑profile ceremonial events.

You’ll work as part of a close‑knit team where discipline, teamwork and attention to detail really matter. The role suits people who take pride in their appearance, enjoy variety, and want to develop strong soldiering skills alongside life skills such as confidence, leadership and resilience.

Apprenticeship:

You’ll work towards a Level 2 Animal Care and Welfare Assistant apprenticeship as part of your training, helping you develop core skills in teamwork, communication and operational awareness.
