You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, often in fast‑paced or complex situations, where clinical judgement, teamwork and resilience really matter. It’s a role for committed medical professionals who want to use their skills in a unique setting, while developing leadership experience and a broader perspective on medicine.

You’ll receive £10,000 per year, paid in annual instalments over your final three years at university, helping to support you while you study. After successfully completing Officer training, you’ll receive a lump sum of £45,000.
During your two‑year Foundation Programme, you’ll also be paid a full Army salary, giving you financial stability while you continue your medical training and begin your career as an Army doctor.
