Overview:

Tank Crewmen in the Royal Armoured Corps are part of the team that operates the Army’s most powerful vehicles. You’ll work inside armoured tanks, helping to drive, operate equipment and support the crew as you move and fight together on the battlefield.

You’ll be trained to work closely as part of a small, highly coordinated team, where trust, communication and quick thinking really matter. It’s a practical, hands‑on role that suits people who enjoy teamwork, problem‑solving and operating advanced technology, while building confidence, resilience and skills for life in and beyond The Army.

Apprenticeship:

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Radio Network Technician apprenticeship as part of your training, helping you develop core skills in teamwork, communication and operational awareness.
