Light Gunner Level 2 Apprenticeship
Overview:
Light Gunners in the Royal Artillery play a key role in supporting Army operations on the ground. You’ll work as part of a close‑knit team, using specialist weapons and equipment to provide firepower and protection wherever it’s needed.
You’ll be trained to operate in demanding environments, think on your feet and work together under pressure. It’s a highly physical, hands‑on role that suits people who enjoy teamwork, practical skills and being outdoors, while building confidence, discipline and resilience that stay with you long after training.
Apprenticeship:
You’ll work towards a Level 2 Express Delivery apprenticeship as part of your training, helping you develop core skills in teamwork, communication and operational awareness.
