Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship
Salary: Over £26,300
Overview:
Chefs in the Royal Logistic Corps play a vital role in Army life by keeping people fuelled and ready to perform. You’ll prepare nutritious meals for soldiers in camps, on exercise and on operations, often in challenging environments where good food can make a real difference to morale.
You’ll learn how to cook for large groups, manage supplies and work as part of a close‑knit team under pressure. It’s a hands‑on role that suits people who enjoy practical work, teamwork and taking pride in what they produce, while building catering skills that are recognised beyond The Army.
Apprenticeship:
You’ll gain a Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship as part of your training, developing professional cooking skills you can use throughout your Army career and into civilian life.
