Communications Engineer Higher Apprenticeship
Overview:
Communications Engineers in the Royal Signals help protect The Army’s networks and systems. You’ll work with cutting‑edge technology to monitor, maintain and defend communications, making sure information stays secure wherever The Army operates.
You’ll learn how networks work, how cyber threats are identified, and how problems are fixed quickly and safely. It’s a hands‑on role that suits people who enjoy technology, problem‑solving and staying one step ahead, while building skills that are in demand both in the Army and in civilian careers.
Apprenticeship:
You’ll gain a Level 4 Network Engineering apprenticeship as part of your training, helping you develop industry‑recognised cyber and networking skills alongside your Army role.
