Job Description

Digital & AI Support Level 3 Apprenticeship - Cloud Bridge Technologies

About Cloud Bridge Technologies:

Cloud Bridge Technologies is a pioneer in delivering secure, cost‑effective cloud solutions designed to help businesses operate confidently in the digital landscape. Their services span SaaS, data recovery, VoIP, office applications, cybersecurity, security cameras, and IoT solutions—providing organizations with the essential tools to enhance efficiency and protect critical data.

About the role:

We are looking for a Digital and AI Support Apprentice to join our growing cloud support team. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on, real-world experience in providing high-quality AI and cloud support to internal or external customers, troubleshooting AI-driven systems and cloud services to ensure availability, performance, and reliability at all times.

With AI operations, cloud troubleshooting, and AWS administration at its core, an AI Support Engineer role within the AWS public cloud is both dynamic and forward-looking. Alongside developing strong technical skills across AWS core services, AI/ML platforms, and cloud-native tooling, engineers learn to diagnose complex issues, analyse model and pipeline behaviour, report incidents, and clearly communicate solutions that enable data- and AI-driven business outcomes.

This role supports the organisation in maximising productivity and innovation through reliable AI platforms, MLOps practices, and cloud-based digital transformation initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Adopt an omni-channel support approach to reduce resolution time and operational costs across AI and cloud services.
  • Design, build, and support scalable AWS-based AI architectures that deliver seamless support for users, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong foundational understanding of AWS, AI/ML services, and cloud operations, supporting progression into advanced cloud, data, or machine learning engineering pathways.
  • Create specialist AI support engineers with subject matter expertise aligned to business needs, including model monitoring, data pipelines, security, and performance optimisation.

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
  • If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
  • For more information please visit the UK ENIC website.

Working hours:

9am – 5pm.

Benefits:

Health & wellness:

  • Medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, mental health support or Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs), life insurance and disability insurance (short‑term + long‑term).

Financial & retirement:

  • Pension plan or employer‑matched retirement plan (e.g., 401(k), workplace pension), performance bonuses or annual bonus schemes and stock options or equity (varies by employer).

Time off:

  • Paid annual leave / holiday entitlement, paid sick leave, paid public/bank holidays, parental leave (maternity, paternity, adoption) and bereavement leave.

Work‑life balance & flexibility:

  • Hybrid or remote‑working options, flexible working hours and compressed workweeks (in some organizations).

Professional development:

  • Training and certification support, tuition reimbursement (some employers), career development programs and mentorship schemes.

Future prospects:

90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
