Job Description

Data Support Level 3 Apprenticeship - UYR Ltd

About UYR Ltd

UYR Ltd is a leading provider of marketing production services, delivering high quality print, digital assets and automated solutions for a wide range of clients. We combine innovative technology with robust production expertise to deliver efficient, scalable and reliable marketing output. Our teams work collaboratively across design, development and production to support customers with dynamic, data driven solutions that streamline their campaigns and improve speed to market.

About the role:

UYR Ltd is seeking a tech savvy and detail focused individual to join our Production Development team as a Data Support Apprentice. This role sits within a different department to our previous Data Essentials opportunities and is not customer facing.

You will support automated production processes, help manage campaign and artwork assets, and assist with maintaining the digital systems that underpin our online platforms and production workflows. Alongside this hands on experience, you will work towards achieving a recognised Data Essentials Level 3 qualification.

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone who enjoys working with digital tools, is comfortable navigating online systems, and is keen to develop their technical and data handling skills. A basic understanding of coding would be an advantage but is not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and data support to the Production Development team
  • Assist with tasks connected to automated production workflows including setup, monitoring and data entry
  • Manage and maintain online assets such as artwork, campaign files, metadata and production materials
  • Update rate cards, reports and internal documentation, ensuring accuracy and version control
  • Organise and prepare campaign and artwork assets for automated services and customer platforms
  • Ensure a high standard of data quality and consistency across systems and storage areas
  • Work collaboratively with Development colleagues to streamline administrative tasks and improve team efficiency

You will need the following skills:

Essential:

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident using digital systems and online platforms
  • Able to follow structured processes and maintain accurate documentation
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks within a production environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams

Desirable:

  • Basic understanding of coding such as HTML, XML, JSON, Python or similar
  • Experience with digital asset management or automated workflows
  • Knowledge of production processes, artwork handling or campaign management
  • Methodical and well organised
  • Keen interest in digital tools and systems
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
  • Collaborative and supportive attitude

Entry requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
  • If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
  • For more information please visit the UK ENIC website.

Working hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week

Benefits:

  • Achieve a nationally recognised Data Essentials Level 3 apprenticeship
  • Gain hands on experience within a supportive, non customer facing environment
  • Work with digital systems, automation tools and asset management platforms
  • Build valuable skills within a growing Production Development team
  • Opportunity to progress within a leading marketing production organisation

Future prospects:

  • 90% of QA apprentices secure permanent employment after completing: this is 20% higher than the national average.
