Legal Services Graduate Programme

Launch your legal career with PwC and build business insight alongside your legal expertise. Our client-facing legal practice offers high-quality training, exposure to complex commercial challenges, and the opportunity to develop broader business skills in a unique multidisciplinary environment.

On our Legal Services Graduate Programme, you’ll train in a stimulating and varied setting, working alongside lawyers, consultants and other professionals across PwC. You’ll gain practical legal experience, contribute to client projects, and benefit from exceptional training designed to help you qualify as a solicitor.

What you’ll do

  • Provide legal expertise across a wide range of industries and clients
  • Work on live client projects with exposure to commercial and regulatory issues
  • Collaborate with colleagues from law, business and finance to deliver rounded solutions
  • Gain first-hand insight into the intersection of law and business strategy
  • Train and qualify through the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE)

Entity Governance and Compliance (EGC)

Alongside our core legal training, there are opportunities to join our market-leading EGC team. EGC professionals help boards and companies navigate complex legal, regulatory and governance obligations, making it an exciting place to develop a career in governance and compliance.

Professional qualifications

  • Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE): Law and non-law graduates study towards the SQE, gaining the SQE LLM Masters qualification before starting a two-year training contract. PwC fully funds tuition and provides a maintenance grant to support your studies.
  • Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (CGP): For those joining EGC, you’ll study with the Chartered Governance Institute to become a Chartered Governance Professional or Chartered Company Secretary. PwC provides funding and study support throughout the two-year programme.

Who can apply

  • Law students: penultimate year onwards (including graduates)
  • Non-law students: final year onwards (including graduates, with PGDL + SQE route)
  • Graduates from any discipline interested in Entity Governance and Compliance
  • Applicants must be on track to pass their degree and have the right to work in the UK
