Advancing Social Mobility Insight Programme

At PwC, we know that when people from diverse backgrounds come together, good things happen. Our Advancing Social Mobility programme is a three-day paid placement designed to inspire and support students from lower socio-economic backgrounds to explore a career in professional services.

You’ll meet people from a range of backgrounds who have built successful careers at PwC, take part in workshops to build confidence and skills, and gain insight into the opportunities available here in the future.

Who can apply

• Undergraduate students graduating in 2028 (first year of a three-year degree, or second year of a four-year degree)
• Attended a state school between ages 11–16, and either:
  • Eligible for, or in receipt of, free school meals, or
  • Main household earner (at age 14) worked in a role classed as lower socio-economic background (per Social Mobility Commission guidance)

Pathway to Summer Internship

Successful participants may be offered a place on a PwC Summer Internship, which could then lead to a graduate role.
