The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a People Industrial Placement to join our People team in our Bristol office. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across the People Team, providing exposure to all the disciplines and understanding how they work closely together. The People Team works to create opportunities for all, investing in our capabilities and culture whilst attracting and retaining great talent.

Throughout the placement you will spend time across the various teams, this might include HR admin, Reward & Benefits, Belonging, Equity & Engagement, Learning & Development.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting on a range of tasks throughout the year, including our annual Employee Awards, HR administration tasks, rewards activities and implementing training across the business.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
• Reporting on, analysing and presenting data from a wide range of sources
• Working collaboratively with the People Team to deliver projects across the business
• Supporting the team across the employee lifecycle
• Take ownership for projects with the support of the team

What We’re Looking for in You

• Working towards a relevant undergraduate degree e.g. Human Resources, Business Studies, Psychology etc
• Seeking a 12-month placement before returning to your final year of study
• Developing and maintaining positive and collaborative working relationships
• Ability to work confidently with confidential information
• Evidence of administrative and organisational skills, including MS Office (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Someone who is self-reliant, eager to learn and enjoy solving problems
