The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Industrial Placement to join our Property team in our London office. This is an opportunity to gain experience within a variety of disciplines within Unite Students, including Development (Acquisition and Development, Design and Planning and Commercial/Project Management), Investment Management and Cladding & Estates. The individual teams undertake a variety of roles within Unite Students and will provide the opportunity to gain significant exposure across the business and where possible, tailored to the appropriate University modules.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Undertake a variety of roles within the below teams as appropriate, and shadow individuals who can offer opportunities to develop in specific areas of interest
  • Development
    • Acquisitions and Development
    • Design and Planning
    • Project / Commercial Management
    • Quantity Surveying
  • Investment Management
  • Cladding and Estates
• Undertake a range of tasks specific to each discipline to gain exposure to the various roles and develop the appropriate skills required
• Attend meetings and site visits (where possible) to obtain first hand experience to the development process
• Target specific areas of interest, especially where relevant to a university degree, and contribute positively to each team

What We’re Looking for in You

• Working towards a real estate, or related, undergraduate degree
• Seeking a 12-month placement before returning to your final year of study
• Willingness to learn and actively contribute to the team
• Ability to undertake a variety of tasks within different disciplines
• Someone who is self-reliant, eager to learn and enjoy solving problems
• A quick learner, demonstrates a capability and willingness to acquire and apply new skills and learning
