I am a deputy manager of a mental health supported living service. I manage the team and the tenants to ensure that they are working towards their recovery goals. I complete regular audits, competencies of the staff team, conduct reviews, organise the rota and schedule support for tenants.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying the online/self taught learning, however I think it would benefit to have group sessions (quarterly) to explore skills and learn form others

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my existing skills- developed my skill set in completing supervisions and appraisals to ensure that they are beneficial for the staff team. I have also developed my insight into the type of leader/manager I am an how this impacts the support I provide.

My programme is well structured and organised. My tutor is helpful in providing strcture and each module follows nicely onto the next

I think that it has helped me have more knowledge and theory around understanding my actions and the impact this can have. It has also allowed me to understand my role within the greater organisation
