A Learning Design and Systems Manager plays a key role in overseeing and guiding the end-to-end development and delivery of learning solutions, while also ensuring that the systems supporting these solutions are effectively implemented and maintained. In relation to project management, this role typically involves: Project Planning & Scoping, Resource Management, Design Oversight & System Integration, Quality Assurance & Compliance, Timeline & Risk Management, Evaluation & Continuous Improvement.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I’m really enjoying the programme I’m currently part of. The monthly webinars with our cohort and coach are especially valuable—they help reinforce and bring to life the learning from the online modules. I feel this experience is really helping me integrate project management more effectively into my current role.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot about the structure of a project (Project Lifecycle) Working with stakeholders roles and responsibilities in project governance. I have learnt detail of project finance around budget management and cost analysis.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I feel my programme is structured well and is very clear structure to follow and the system APTEM is easy to naiveite and use. I do feel slightly confused at times around the various documents towards the final assessment and EPA.

I utilise the message/chat on our learning portal APTEM and my coach is always very responsive and supportive at all times.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
