Rental Management Trainee Internship
At Enterprise Mobility
Internship (1 Month+)
Describe your role and what it entails:
During my internship at Enterprise Mobility, I worked as a Rental Management Trainee, supporting the branch across key areas like customer service, sales, fleet management, and daily operations. I was actively involved in managing rentals and reservations, preparing vehicles for customer use, and assisting with administrative duties. The hands-on experience gave me a strong foundation in business operations and customer engagement, while also providing opportunities to step into leadership roles and contribute to team success.
What have been your highlights?
One of the most rewarding aspects of my internship was stepping into captaincy roles, where I led the team in achieving, and often exceeding, KPIs and branch targets. These experiences helped me uncover a natural strength in leadership and sharpened by ability to inspire and motivate others. A standout moment was receiving an award at the North West ball for my use of social media to boost brand visibility, something I was genuinely proud of and that highlighted my creativity and initiative.
What has surprised you the most amount working at Enterprise Mobility?
I was surprised by how much your effort directly translates into reward. Enterprise Mobility truly recognises and rewards hard work, and you get out exactly what you put in. One of the most unexpected and memorable moments was having a 30-minute call with a director in my first month just because I proactively reached out via email. That level of accessibility and support is incredibly, and it made me feel genuinely valued from the start.
What have you learnt from your experience in the role?
Throughout this role, I learned how to lead a team effectively, work towards and exceed performance targets, and represent a brand professionally, particularly through social media. It also taught me the value of being proactive and taking initiative, which opened doors to unexpected opportunities and meaningful connections.
How would you describe the culture at Enterprise Mobility?
The culture at Enterprise Mobility was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience. Everyone, from interns to senior leaders, was friendly, humble, and like-minded, creating an environment of openness. That sense of connection made the workplace both motivating and enjoyable. The support I received from colleagues and managers made me feel truly values and empowered to grow.
