What was your experience of the recruitment process at AG, and is there anything you wish you had known beforehand?
My experience of the recruitment process at Addleshaw Goddard was very positive, with guidance sessions and regular updates at each stage that made me feel supported and well-prepared. I felt that the early careers team genuinely wanted candidates to succeed, and looking back, I wish I had known just how approachable and supportive the recruitment team would be, as this would have helped ease any initial nerves.
What has surprised you most about working at AG, and how has your perception of the legal/business services sector changed since joining?
What has surprised me most about working at Addleshaw Goddard is the level of support from colleagues at every level, from fee earners to management. The time and effort invested in my development has shown me that the firm genuinely wants you to achieve your potential, which has positively changed my perception of the legal sector as being far more nurturing than I had expected.
What advice would you give to someone considering an apprenticeship or graduate position at AG?
For anyone considering an apprenticeship or graduate position at AG, my advice is to be authentic and present your true self. Addleshaw Goddard values individuality, so sharing your genuine personality, experiences, and perspectives throughout the application process will go a long way.
