Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

My role involves looking at how Disney titles perform on linear TV across EMEA, as well as creating surveys for new Disney+ originals. Every day is different, as most of my the requests I receive are on an ad-hoc basis.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Yes! I've presented to senior members of staff and worked on important projects for the company.

I've learned so many new skills! I've learned how to use software like Excel, TechEdge and PowerBI. I've also improved my presenting skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming on the research team. The office is also full of interns, so it's really nice to work with so many people your age.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I loved it! I had never considered a role in research before, but now I'm hoping to go back into it after I finish my degree. I enjoyed every aspect of my role and the perks of working at Disney, such as free screenings.
