Perform social listening analysis for regional Disney Studios titles, analysing social media discussion and making marketing and social media strategy recommendations.

I felt I was given lots of responsibility, being transferred leadership of various reports and was able to lead on various presentations to higher-ups.

I've developed my social listening and analysis skills hugely, as well as my ability to deal with on the spot questions when presenting. I've also hugely grown my social and communicative skills, being able to create bonds with coworkers far more effectively.

I received so much support from my team, as teams are given most of the responsibility of training and supporting placement interns. My team were brilliant in supporting me where possible and were very invested in my growth.

For most of my year there's a really positive and supportive atmosphere across the office, however when negative news came towards the end of my internship, this shifted hugely and the entire office was less sociable and more downbeat.
Whilst the office was in general fairly diverse too, my leadership team was almost fully composed of white men, which felt that the diversity of higher management was lacking.

I hugely enjoyed my placement year, it's been one of the best years of my life, and made me hugely optimistic about future job opportunities
