Day to day at Walt Disney World, I would assist guests with any queries or concerns they may have, while providing a magical experience daily. Going above and beyond in all situations positive and negative. Doing my best to resolve any issues people may be having.

I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement as I was in most cases the first person the guests would see when they entered the building, and I would assist them with whatever needed whether this was positive or negative. I was always able to call someone above me for extra guidance or control over a situation if needed.

During my time at Walt Disney World, I was able to develop my personal and professional skills every single day. Specifically communication as I was speaking to people everyday and gaining experience on how to communicate with people when there is a language barrier involved or during more frustrating times and figuring out how to resolve any issues. I gained valuable international experience that I will be able to take into my future career.

During my time at Walt Disney World I had a very strict training schedule to ensure I was able to follow all the rules and regulations that come with being a Walt Disney World cast member. Following this was a test to ensure that I reached this regulations and expectations. Support and guidance was always available to me throughout.

The culture working at Walt Disney World was very welcoming and inclusive. The energy in the workplace was very friendly and energetic. Everyone was very encouraging to put myself out there in order to get the most out of my placement and time in the USA.

My placement was the best experience of my life and one that I will remember positively for the rest of my life. Everyday I looked forward to going into my place of work as the environment was so incredibly friendly and supportive with work being highly rewarding.
