Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
It was a very engaging two-day programme giving an insight to what it looks like working with EY, specifically in the field of tax. Various women leaders in EY gave brief presentations to what they do on a daily basis and encouraged everyone to ask questions no matter how big or small.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very overwhelming. Especially when everyone else in the programme is just as eager to learn as I am and not a lot of spots are available for conversion to the summer internship.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I gained more knowledge in how it would look like working in tax as a women and in one of the best companies, EY. I also learnt how to sharpen my presentation skills through one of the segments of the programme, Presentation Skills, and how to present my findings through a case study.

Very inclusive. Loved how all the speakers/panels welcomed all types of questions with no judgements.

I kept telling my friends how enjoyable this insight was. It was not boring as all the speakers knew how to gauge our attention throughout the programme.

Be engaging in sessions even when they are held online. Online sessions can be just as fun as physical ones.
