Overall, how would you describe your experience at EY?
I have had a really great experience. The community here is fantastic and plenty support is given to help balance work and studies. It can be fast paced (due to the nature of the job), but guidance and help is always available.
There's also many things going on in the year, so I can always get involved with things and have fun.

Preparing workbooks. Testing and auditing.

I feel valued and included by my team. They have a clear structure and delegate tasks well.

Definitely paid more than most plus great perks and benefits. Bonuses are always a plus.

You move incrementally in stages and at each stage you receive training to prepare you for your future role. Everyone is assigned a counsellor to help guide you and your career development.

There is lots of training assigned and that you can assign to yourself. You can seek out opportunities to develop specific skills and grow.

How is the support you receive?

There's a very strong line of support. There are counsellors, your buddy as well as the resourcing team, student support team and your line manager. All play various roles and are very supportive.
How is your work-life balance?

During busy season it can be difficult to get a good work-life balance (this is the nature of the job), but outside of that busy time there is a very good balance.

There are many societies and networks to join. There are some events hosted throughout the year.

There are many CSR initiatives and EY allows individuals many days a year to be used for CSR initiatives that either they have set up or you have found for yourself. They have giving weeks which allow for people to donate or volunteer for. They also have many outreach programmes that people can participate in.
