Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involves working with the marketing department to produce campaigns on multiple media platforms throughout the year. My day-to-day includes planning campaigns, briefing them to agencies, working on them to ensure they go live on time, implementing tracking and finally reporting on each campaign.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a lot of responsibility throughout my year at Disney. My team have been incredible in supporting me, but also challenging me. This has resulted in significant personal development where I have grown in confidence, but also learned a lot about working with others and adapting to individual working preferences.

My team along with the wider DDI department have all been incredibly supportive. They welcomed me with open arms and everyone is always willing to give a spare minute of their time to guide me

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere in the company, and more specifically my department, was absolutely fantastic! Everyone is hardworking, willing to learn and just generally extremely passionate about the brand.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my year at Disney. It was everything I wanted and more. The people within the company really made my experience, as I couldn’t fault them. All so supportive, helpful, truly caring and always promoting a positive outlook.
