Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Managing the creation of style guides and tracking their progress. Ad hoc tasks of pulling data together. Creating slides or other useful documents for the teams.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was treated like any other employee and always had tasks to do and things to work on. I managed my own projects and developed many documents.

Developed my communication skills when it comes to working with new people and other teams. I have also continued to develop my Adobe skills due to making various documents in InDesign.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
The best support ever. I had a great manager who listened and supported me. We had daily meetings as a team and bi-weekly 121 meetings which were very useful. She helped me with any issues. The team as a whole were very supportive and we worked together to help one another on all tasks

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
It’s amazing! Very supportive and friendly. You can talk to anyone about their roles and can learn so much. There are lots of things to get involved in, like the VoluntEAR work.

Be yourself and be human. You don’t have to pretend to love Disney. So long as you are enthusiastic about the brand and are keen to learn and help others you’ll do great!
