Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Writing and editing articles for the internal digital newsletter that is sent to 36 territories globally. Assisting in running internal campaigns across multiple internal channels. Supporting the wider team in an array of projects including across DEI, CSR and global support.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

This internship has given me loads of responsibility, after my first few weeks in the internship the team supported me and helped me build my confidence. I was then given the responsibilities to manage the newsletter and our digital channel.

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

This internship has allowed me to develop multiple skills. Specifically my organisational skills, event planning, copywriting and building my overall confidence to try new things and learn new skills. This role is so diverse I am able to take risks and develop so many skills.

Everyone that I have talked to in the company has been so kind and willing to help. It does not matter the level of their seniority people are always there to give advice.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed this internship so much, it was the perfect introduction into the professional world. I was able to build my career, confidence and a multitude of skills. I was also able to meet and connect with people from various backgrounds which was amazing.
